On 16th April 2006, the very first batch of talents were brought on to the island to be "W Retreat & Spa Maldives for pre-opening rehearsal. and within this group of talents was Azu, whose smile would forever be with us. Azu was hired as one of the W Lounge Ambassadors, and she stayed with us for great and memorable 4 years. Rain or rough seas, she crossed the sea in between male' and the airport to greet our guests with the W Smile which gave our guests the feeling of being taken care of. Unfortunately Azu has resigned from W and the industry to move with her family to Sri Lanka. So thats why the talents of Welcome made sure her farewell would give her an everlasting memory of W and her fellow colleagues. Her last day in W Started with a picture session in ESCAPE, followed by a slide show of our pre-opening pictures, games and songs. her last moment was spent playing miming movie titles with the welcome talents, shaun, Nikki, Aalim, Boos & Lirar. That was fun! We wish her Good Luck in her life and let her know we will always miss her. Azu, Keep in touch and see you again! Whatever/whenever really!
