Since 2008 w-inner is officially active with nominated members from each department and an elected organizing body. Now its your chance to join w-inner and organize things with your creativity. Why not grab a form from HR and apply with the nomination of your department?
How it works: Each department should nominate maximum 3 Talents to represent their department in w-inner. When a department nominate a Talent he/she becomes a member of w-inner automatically. After that among all, they will vote to elect the organizing body of W-INNER.

W-inner have just been informed by one of the Style talent that this afternoon there will be a football match between STYLE talents. Todays match will be played Beach Oasis Stylists vs. Ocean Oasis Stylists. this is rally a great idea as we see more and more matches coming up lately to strengthen the team work within the department as well as other departments. So the supportes out there' today we will see what is your favourite room category, but for sure both catogories have their own plunge pool to cool down the heat on the pitch. ALERT !! Engineering please fix the AC if there is any pending' we gonna have a problem here :-)

69 Days away from the biggest soccer festival and first time in African continent is getting ready to host the World Cup. Whenever there is a big event W Talents always participate in style. Oh yeah Soccer being the favorite game among all of us we will enjoy fully by participating our way to enjoy world cup fever. W-INNER along with all the clubs are organizing an amazing world cup package for June. You may think why would we join a separate package when we can enjoy the ball game in my room relaxing!! Oh boy, if you love the game and support with spirit you are wrong. We do things differently even in this we are trying to make it different. Its your wish to join and share the fun among the rest of your fellow talents but trust me, World Cup will never be fun to watch alone in one corner. We are hoping A block attic (15Above cafe) will be running by that time with fully equipped high definition quality projector along with digital Bose sound system and a cafe with coffee machine, popcorn machine. Tell me whats going in your mind when you hear something like this in our Wonderland? For me its simply superb and world class to have this kind of facilities for us.
During the next few days we will promote world cup package by explaining you all how it works and how super it would be, I know in W we have never failed to have fun. In summary, this package is simply to enjoy the world cup season on A Attic cafe screen with a cup of coffee. To add more details, it comes with a specially designed W style world cup T-Shirt, to give you opportunity to reserve your seat and to bet the tournament with your favorite team. When i say bet the game it simply means you bet and if you win you take all the winning money too. Participating form will be published here very soon once we finalize everything.

Maldives to host Akon's aborted Sri Lanka concert
COLOMBO (AFP) – The Maldives stepped in on Tuesday to offer US rap star Akon a replacement concert after his scheduled appearance in Sri Lanka next month was scuttled by protesting Buddhist monks.
"We are very happy he is planning to come and perform," President Mohamed Nasheed's press secretary Mohamed Zuhair told AFP by telephone from the atoll nation.

Samy is back in Wonderland
Samy from our pre-opening team in Welcome department is back in Wonderland to join Welcome Team again. Samy was one of the key member of our team as well as he was a great asset with creative ideas and competitive sports personality when he was in W before. He was one of the founding member of w-inner as well as the first Mr. W. W LOVE EARTH HOUR LIKE NO OTHER
It was Earth Hour like no other-- certainly the W way! Talents gather at the candlelit COURTYARD don with the limited edition W Earth Hour signature black shirt. As 8:30 PM ticked, all lights and power were put off and the W talents showed their power with the Bodubero drums and traditional jolly chants. Drinks were served, talents were displayed! It was a night of discovery-- an inspiration for everyone to further care for mother earth and nurturing hidden talents.

W Talent, do you still remember 08-08-08?
We have decided to tell you the story of W-Inner as we are frequently receiving questions about the beginning of the W-inner blog!
Even though we celebrate our talent club anniversary on 08-08-08; W-INNER was actually operating independently and WoWing talents since April 2007. We began as part of the promotion campaign for the first ever mini-Olympics in April 2007 by printing single paged pamphlets which was then sent via e-mail or posted on noticed boards in Escape Area. There were 4 issues of these pamphlets issues; however, while designing our 2nd edition we came up with the idea for a blog. This idea seemed extremely viable as more people would be able to access it and blogs archive capability offered the perfect solution for eco friendly publication with the ability to access past articles for future references. Plus we had a limited time for pamphlet preparation and printing after work. Our Welcome Talent, Naadhu was the mastermind and co-founder Lirar from Finance. Then W-inner was the insider who brought the talents all the hot gossips and entertaining stories. Later, due to W-inners growing membership and influence, W-inner approached HR department to make it the official Talent Club and discontinue the Fun Club that was almost inactive at that time. That’s when 08-08-08 became the official inaugural date for W-inner.

Earth Hour 2010 will continue to be a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community. A call to stand up, to show leadership and be responsible for our future. Hi fellow Talented Talents, Let's not wait for the Earth Hour only! Let's not be too lazy to switch off our room lights, TV, AC when the room is empty. Not only our rooms TV, all the AC's and lights should be off during the time when we are not using our Nook. Talent Rooms, Nook and Escape Area is done! We also demand each and everyone who is working in our offices to shut down their computers, office lights, office AC's when all the offices are empty at the end of the day. Should we stop now? No way, W-INNER is going green supporting save the planet. We should not switch off just because of the Earth Hour. Instead, we have to make sure we switch off everyday. Every switch cost energy! The more we waste energy the more we are destroying our Earth!
