Captain Sameer and his crews of Venus – You all are heroes!
Let’s Welcome What’s Up Dock tomorrow with a big W wave!
On 16th October 2008 Captain Sameer started his journey from Male Airport harbor with full of cargo and his crews (Hussen, Ahmed, Riyaz, Mufeed) sailing towards W. One of the tragedic day for us during our time in W will be remembered as that rainy and windy day when Captain Sameer called resort and said we are sinking in the middle of “Alihuras Channel” far away from reaching any island. We did everything we could to save our Talents onboard and succeeded with the braveness of the crews onboard. After investigation it was found out that Venus Boat hit by a three wave set, occurring very close together and damaged most of its body and filled with water.
After that, Captain Sameer spent all these days engaging with the new boat we have been building. Since 16th Oct 2008, After 980 Days Finally Sameer will reach to W dock with a brand new boat “WHAT’S UP DOCK” tomorrow morning ETA 6AM with his new crews. His timing couldn’t be any better than Captain Jack Sparrow when Pirates of the Caribbean movie is running theaters these days
